In my role I'm responsible for the customer facing digital output of a high performing, passionate team leading the charge on our transition from Bricks and Mortar retail to category leadership as an eCommerce retailer.
Broadly my responsibilities are:
Ownership of marketing relationship with IT, specifically software delivery, developing the strategy then prioritising the development roadmap ensuring all our £600m turnover sales channels reflect the customer and marketing needs (convenience, innovation, communication) whilst improving their effectiveness as eCommerce transactional channels (CRO)
Overseeing a substantial budget across all digital channels for an 1300 store estate ensuring its delivering against business objectives cost effectively. Inclusive of PPC, SEO, Affiliates, Social, CRM, VOD, DR Display, CRO, brand content.
Developing a personalised e-CRM strategy inclusive of email, push, SMS & DM
Presenting to Franchisee Marketing Group key campaign initiatives and investment decisions
Driving a layered approach to digital communications with a constant e-commerce, social and mobile presence boosted with layers of brand/campaign/content activity
Working closely with local store and national marketing teams to ensure effective support of all initiatives through digital channels.
Oversee partner relationships at a senior level with Media, Webdev, Design and Direct/Data agencies
Analyse sales performance against investment on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
Put data front and centre of our decision making process through in housing our data analysis
Managing a team of specialist marketers (Digital Marketing, Acquisition & Retention, Database Manager &eCRM)
